In recent years, climate change has led to a change in the scale of disasters and now confronts businesses with significant potential losses. It is with the desire to offer a solution on the ground to help businesses that Ardent Operations was born.

After spending 27 years in French civil security, participating in hundreds of operations and many wildfire seasons, Stéphane left the institution with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel after having held all operational positions.
He then committed to a 4-year mission on behalf of the European Commission. Based in Morocco, he supported 10 African countries as an expert for prevention and response to NRBC (Nuclear, Radiological, Biological, and Chemical) incidents.
In 2019, he settled in Quebec, CA and offered his services to a Canadian company that assists municipalities and businesses in their emergency preparedness.
Simultaneously, Stéphane continues to undertake expert missions on behalf of the U.N. in areas related to the security and safety of countries.
Passionate about wide-open spaces, he continues to travel and discover remote places in his free time.

At Ardent Operations, we understand that the fight against wildfires cannot be won. We must live with wildfires; they are not only inevitable but also indispensable. In this context, we offer our clients a reasoned stance towards forest fires
Prevention helps us "make defensible" our clients' stakes. Protection, on the other hand, is based on a defensive attitude: we rely on prepared areas to limit the consequences of a disaster using simple, effective, and quickly implementable hydraulic means.
We don't have big trucks? No, and that's a deliberate choice! We need to be able to go anywhere, anytime, because that's where our clients' needs are. For this reason, we have opted for aeromobile solutions.
With two rotations of a Bell 206 type helicopter, we are able to deploy a basic unit in the middle of the forest, where no truck could go. This unit consists of 3 to 4 men, and equipment capable of defending an area of 10,000 ft²...
